Photo & Video Offerings
We thank you for considering Highland Farms for your photo production. We love seeing both personal and commercial shoots coming to life on our property, a charming 5 acre forest farm nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Oregon’s Mount Hood Territory.
Our farm not only provides scenic access to the vignettes of the Pacific Northwest forest, but also provides the opportunity to incorporate our majestic Scottish Highland Coos and other assorted fowl and livestock into your photoshoot.
ACCOMMODATIONS
We understand that multi-day productions require convenient lodging near the set, and our Lodge, Cottage, Airstream, and furnished canvas tents doing just so, comfortably sleeping up to 22 crew and cast members.

Base Package
You will be able to use all the grounds of Highland Farms. You can shoot next to the forest pasture, and we will bring treats and have the Coos approach you at the fence line of the pen. To shoot inside the pen, see Tier 2.

Coo Pen Package
You will be able to use all the grounds of Highland farms, enter the pen with our Highland Coos, and we will help you arrange the Coos as best we can for your photos. To bring a coo outside the pen, see Tier 3.

Forest Coo Package
You will have all the access provided in Tier 1 and Tier 2, and we will also take one of our Highland Coos out of the pen for a more intimate forest photo shoot. [Minimum of 2 hours, maximum of 4 hours]
Note: Using the airstream is available for an extra $150 and comes with a night’s stay in the Airstream (pending availability).

The Lodge
Your home base for the perfect gathering.
The Lodge at Highland Farms sleeps 8 is the perfect gathering spot for mealtimes, games, and outdoor BBQing with guests from both The Lodge and The Cottage. The four bedroom house features a spacious primary bedroom, a large family room, and a dining room that comfortably seats all guests, and a outdoor deck overlooking the farm and surrounding forest.
The Cottage
Extend the weekend invite with a secondary gathering space.
A perfect space to continue dinner conversations into the night, The Cottage at Highland Farms is located a stone’s throw from The Lodge and features its own full kitchen and three bedrooms. The sleeping accommodations make the space comfortable for either six adults or four adults and four children, and an outdoor patio with Adirondack chairs overlooking the farm is a perfect space for taking in the great outdoors.
The Camp
A forest camping experience you won’t forget.
The Camp at Highland Farms sleeps 6 between the iconic Airstream and the two queen-bed-appointed canvas tents just a stone’s throw beyond. The Airstream serves as home base for The Camp, with a full kitchen and bath, and conveniently offers WiFi and TV access for its guests.

Brightwood, Oregon, sits in a forested valley midway between Mount Hood and the fertile Willamette Valley. Perched on a sloping foothill above the confluence of the Sandy and Salmon Rivers, Highland Farms shares the same views witnessed by the fur traders and trappers that established the infamous Oregon Trail.
